Four projects, hung side by side. Open one.

From thread to garment

  1. Dyed yarns in pink, lilac and ochre

    01 / 05

    Thread Le fil

Everything begins with the yarn: its colour, its twist, its hand.

  2. Warping on the wall frame.

    02 / 05

    Warp L’ourdissage

Hundreds of threads are wound to length, side by side, under the same tension.

  3. The shuttle passes, the reed beats the weft.

    03 / 05

    Weave Le tissage

Pick after pick, the shuttle passes and the reed beats the weft into place.

  4. Chevron weave in gold and black

    04 / 05

    Cloth L’étoffe

The cloth takes its structure, its weight, its way with light.

  5. Black and white triptych of the sculptural organza gown

    05 / 05

    Garment Le vêtement

Then the cloth becomes a body, a silhouette, a story.

About

I weave to understand how textiles hold time, memory and the body.

I came to design through the hand. Trained first as an upholsterer at École Boulle, I went on to École Duperré, where the DN MADE Fashion programme — craftsmanship, luxury and innovation, weaving — made textiles my field of research.

Today I explore woven textiles in their technical, creative and social dimensions, as a way of answering the questions of our time.
